    Game consoles for small kids

By Billy the Ant the 30 January 2009

The newest trend has turned gaming into a learning experience.  Nowadays, many successful game consoles combine both fun and education. Leapster Multimedia Learning system console is one example: boys and girls between the ages of 3 to 5 years old can play exciting learning games, read electronic books, watch videos and even create their own art masterpieces. Another similar game is the V smile TV Learning System for pre schoolers, available in pink for girls or blue for boys. The Jakks Motion Control Disney Fairies is also a fun new game that allows girls to play and learn as their favorite Disney characters.

From now on children have everything to have fun…

I’m totally fond of music, movies… and HMV is one my favorite store. Today, I found some movies and CDs for almost nothing.
If you like movies and music as much as I do, run to your closest HMV store to enjoy the latest sales on DVDs and CDs. Prices start from £2.99 and HMV has reduced its prices by up to 50% . Before going to the store, let’s take a look at their website.

    Duvet Shopping?

By Billy the Ant the 24 January 2009

There are two common type of duvets: natural or synthetic.

Natural duvets consist of duck or goose feathers. They have a longer lifespan than synthetic duvets and can last up to ten years, while synthetics are usually replaced after five years.  Natural duvets are also better at absorbing body moisture due to their natural fillings.

Synthetics, however, are better for people who suffer from allergies (specifically animal allergies that could be irritated by duck or goose feathers).  Synthetic duvets also require less maitenance.  Prices can vary, too, with a natural duvet costing twice as much as a sythetic.

If you are in the market for a new duvet, check out  The Best Bed Linen in the World to search a large choice of duvets!  Sweet dreams!

    The Blu-Ray discs market

By Billy the Ant the 22 January 2009

It is obvious that HD DVDs are more successful than the Blu-Ray discs, you just have to see the sales figures.  Last year in the UK over 3.8 movies were available on HD DVD compared to only 0.8 movies available on Blu Ray discs. But, Blu-Ray discs continue to rise in sales due to their superior picture quality and ability to store more special features.

If you want to build your Blu-Ray collection, check out Amazon’s website, where you will find good discounts on Blu-Ray discs with a sweet deal: Buy two, get one free on all blu-ray discs!

Sony internet connectivity for 90% of its products

Sony has publicly stated its aim to have 90-percent of its electronic products networked by 2010.  Sony says it hopes to make all your in-home Sony products inter-connected automatically or with the push of a button.  Of course the VAIO line will be a focus point for the development, but Sony’s Bravia HD TV will also be an interesting addition to the network, allowing consumers to stream video content from the Internet right on to their flat screen TV!  I can’t wait to see what else Sony comes up with!

A luxury wind is blowing in the bathrooms! Our favorite designers are giving us the chance to wear their own perfume creations everyday!  But these aren’t just any old designer fragrances.  No, this is the new trend of genderless scents.  First came Private Blend from Tom Ford (£200 50ml), which was released only a few months ago and is currently being sold in just ten outlets worldwide!  Following with the trend is an exclusive fragrance from Karl Lagerfeld, called Kapsule.  Kapsule is the less expensive option (£45 30ml) if you are looking for a new designer scent, and offers three bottles to mix at your pleasure: Light Floriental, and Woody.  You could capture the attention of someone before the first look.

The small female ants could not resist anymore!

    iPod and iPhone Convenient Gloves!

How can you use your Iphone or Ipod without having to take off your glove and risk to losing a finger to the cold?
Well, as always, Apple has the answer.  Apple has already patented a concept design for iPhone gloves. The gloves feature an electrically conductive inner layer of fabric, which would allow users to use their iPhone or change the song on their iPod without taking off their gloves.

However, it seems someone has beat Apple to the market with a similar product.  For now, you can buy Tavo’s iPod friendly gloves for $35 at these e-commerce sites: JR.com, B&H photovideo.com, Tekserve.com.
Your fingers will never be cold again!
