The 2-pound, 1-inch thick T91 has a 8.9-inch touch screen that hinges on a central point and can rotate 360 degrees and fold back on itself. It’s a tablet running XP, but at the press of a button you can launch into Widget or Touch modes, based on a Linux system. You can either enhance the touch interaction or just use the T91 as a conventional netbook. Features include a 32GB SSD, a stylus (tucked in the front), a TV tuner, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, 3G and GPS.

The Asus T91 will arrive in the UK in May, while a slightly bigger model, the Asus T101H with a 10-inch screen, is expected to follow later this year.
