How many times have you missed a phone call because you were in a loud setting? It can be a bit frustrating especially if it was an important call that you missed from mom. Tennis star Maria Sharapova presented a prototype dress with Sony Ericsson that is designed to light up whenever the wearer’s mobile phone rings. The idea to design this pretty white cocktail dress came from a British fashion student who wanted to incorporate new technology into fashion.

How does it work? Through wireless Bluetooth technology so that the dress can connect wirelessly to a user’s handset. The right shoulder of the dress has translucent white scales that light up and move whenever the mobile phone rings. This will definitely catch one’s attention in any setting at any time!
