The International CES returned to Las Vegas from January 7-10, 2010 to promote awareness about the consumer technology industry. At the exhibit, 20,000 new technology products were announced. Here are a few that really seemed to catch my eye:

Ever wanted to control a quadricopter with just your iPhone or iPod Touch? Maybe not, but now you can. Record high-quality videos as you use your iPhone or iPod Touch to control the drone via Wi-Fi communications. You can expect it to be released later this year.

Panasonic 152-Inch Full HD 3D Plasma
This HD TV released by Panasonic at the exhibit is the world’s largest Full HD 3D plasma television. At 152 inches, this television does not sacrifice quality over quantity, and in fact has higher quality than most HD TVs and can support rapid 3D image display.

eReaders
eReaders were really popular this year at the exhibit. One that was really neat was the Interead COOL-ER, which features a 3G network and Wi-Fi capabilities that will keep you connected to NewspaperDirect services that allow you to access over 1,300 newspapers and magazines. These eReaders are available in a range of awesome colours too!

Skype on TV
