So the winner of the name for the new Apple tablet computer is… the iPad!
The new Apple iPad has just been unveiled and we here at Letsbuyit.com are blown away by the new stylish features of this seemingly revolutionary product.
We have all heard rumours of what it was going to be like, but I think the iPad has surpassed most expectations. IT features an LCD touch screen display with 1024×768 resolution (compared to the 480×320 resolution of the iPod/iPhone), technology which can detect whether you are holding it in portrait or landscape, and is a miniscule weight of just 0.68kg and 13.4mm thick!!
The iPad also comes along with some new cool applications like “iBooks”. iBooks features a virtual bookshelf displaying the covers of your books, which you can then choose to read and turn the pages with a flick of a finger.

Unfortunately the iPad is not available to buy just yet, but I am eagerly anticipating when it comes into stores. Cannot wait to try it for myself!
