After having met Addy Feuerstein at the DLD 08 Conference by Burda in Munich last January 2008, Allofme has now opened their ports to the beta users. Being a fan of timelines, we just had to try out this interesting media-aggregator for ourselves.

The BillyTimeline has been enriched with some few videos, photos and entries and it already looks interesting. Not all the uploading features are active yet however you can upload all some offline files or your data from Picasa, Flickr, YouTube & Twitter already. Check it out because it is an interesting way to demonstrate information on a horizontal chronological timeline in comparison to the top-to-bottom textual way. We are trying to visualise our developments a little and this timeline is an entertaining piece of work.

Billy presented himself with great pleasure and pride to the 25,000 visitors of the eCommerce-Convention in Paris on the 23rd- 25th of September 2008. There were more than 350 exhibitors at the conventions this year with almost 240 conferences.

Despite his impressive size, his gigantic antennas and a shoe size of 72, Billy was received with a warm and heartedly welcome by the crowds. You can also check out all the photos of his little red-carpet moves on Picasa as well as on Billy’s FaceBook-Profil!

We would like to thank you all for your support that allowed Billy to conquer those 14.000 m² of exhibition floor… And a special thanks needs to be extended to LeadShare for their help and warm welcome!

We would like to draw your attention to a new Blog, which is called Posterous. Posterous is very interesting because it makes the posting of content much easier in comparison to other Blog Management Systems like Wordpress, etc.. You don’t need any log-in because you only email your content to posterous to publish your content. There is only one unique email ID (post@posterous.com) where you send your email (incl. photos, hyperlinks, Youtube Videos, etc.) to, which is then resized and formatted for you and it will be posted to your individual page based on your email ID.
