By Billy the Ant the 24 March 2010

Florence our International Shopping Consultant for the Second Best Job in the World has now reached her final destination on her world tour looking for the best shops, best deals and best places to go in cities such as New York, London and Tokyo!

She is now in Paris, her home town, for the last few days of being International Shopping Consultant, and I think we will miss all her blog entries which have kept us all entertained here at the LetsBuyIt community over the past month!

As it is her home town I expect she will know all the best places to go already without having to search for them, I for one am looking forward to what she can tell us the shopping in the city of love!

Keep up to date with the last few days of her adventure, or catch up with the cities that she has already visited on her blog.

Please feel free to comment on any places to go that you know about in any of the cities, or just let us know what you think of the blog in general!

Just starting off on the last leg Florence arrived in New York yesterday where she will spend four days, up until the 20th March, discovering all the best places to shop and finding some great products!

She will then be returning to Paris to tell us all about the best places to shop in her home town! I think a trip down the Champs Elysées is in store!

But what has the Big Apple got in store for our International Shopping Consultant? Even though Florence aims to find some places off the beaten track, I am sure she will be visiting all the department stores and shopping districts which the city is famous for:

Madision Avenue with its famous designer stores, with the likes of Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, Versace and Armani!

Fifth Avenue, has the same kind of designers to offer including the famous Tiffany’s & Co, can Florence resist this opportunity to get a special little blue bag?

And let’s not forget the massive department stores such as Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s and Barney’s. Where you could spend hours on end perusing all the floors and different sections.

However, as we have found out Florence loves vintage clothing, so I am sure she will find some smaller thrift stores and markets to explore and tell us all about!

So follow all her adventures and check out where she has been already on the Second Best Job in the World Blog.

The Winter sales begin in 2 days in France, and they promise us good reductions up to 60% off! Shopping in Paris doesn’t get any better than this! From January 7th until February 10th, you have an excellent reason to visit France!

And until January 20th, take a break between shops to admire the Christmas lights that are strung all over Paris, in particular those down the Champs-Elysees (2km of lighting!).  Shopping and lights – what a great way to extend the magic of Christmas!
