October 1st (last Thursday) marked the release of the latest addition to the Sony PSP series, the PSP Go. This latest model has three very different distinguishing features:
- Bluetooth technology: Unlike previous models, the PSP Go features Bluetooth technology allowing users to sync their Bluetooth headsets and PS3 controllers to the Go.
- Appearance: The new PSP is 35% smaller and 16% lighter than its predecessor the PSP 3000. In order to accomplish this without compromising its features, Sony developed a new design. Now, the 3.7” TFT LCD screen slides up to reveal the controls, making it both aesthetically pleasing and practical.
- No UMD slot: The PSP Go does not feature a UMD slot; therefore users must download games and content from Sony’s online store instead of buying UMD discs.
In addition to these improvements, the PSP Go has 16GB of built-in storage so you can hold loads of games, music, films and videos.
I don’t know about you but this is one item I will definitely add to my LetsWinIt wishlist this month. For those of you who haven’t already heard of LetsWinIt, it’s a monthly price draw from the price comparison website LetsBuyIt.co.uk. Each month a new winner is chosen to win their wishlist with a value of £1000. An opportunity not to be missed!!!
